Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and highly available OpenShift Container Platform solutions.
- Lead cloud-native transformation initiatives involving containerization, microservices, CI/CD, and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, platform engineers, and DevOps teams to align solutions with business needs.
- Define and enforce OpenShift governance policies, including RBAC, multitenancy, networking, and security.
- Develop architecture artifacts including HLDs, LLDs, roadmaps, and runbooks.
- Work closely with product owners and technical leads to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews and performance assessments of OpenShift clusters.
- Stay current with Red Hat ecosystem developments and advise on platform upgrades and integrations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise in Red Hat OpenShift (v4.x preferred) and Kubernetes architecture.
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration, microservices architecture, and DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with Helm, Operators, Istio/Service Mesh, and GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, image registries, and security hardening.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and scripting (e.g.,Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration / OpenShift Architect
- Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA) / Kubernetes Certified Application Developer (CKAD)
- AWS/Azure/GCP Architect certifications are a plus
