Key Responsibilities

* Advise on rationalization of the existing Intune Windows policy estate, including

duplication, overlap, and policy sprawl.

* Define a governed Intune policy lifecycle process covering request, approval, testing,

rollout, review, exception handling, and retirement.

* Establish naming, versioning, taxonomy, and policy register standards for intune

configuration and security policies.

* Provide design guidance for conflict-free targeting using device groups, assignment

filters, scope tags, and Microsoft-aligned assignment practices.

* Support pilot and rollout waves through advisory input, validation, and issue triage.

* Work with Endpoint Engineering, Security, and GRC stakeholders to align policy

governance with CIS Level 1 objectives.

* Intune policy consolidation blueprint and priorit, ed remediation backlog

* Intune policy lifecycle framework aligned to /TIL 4 and ISO-aligned goverance

practices.

•Naming, versioning, and taxonomy standard for Intune policies

* Policy register schema covering ownership, classification, version, status, review date,

and control mapping

* Targeting and assignment design guidance for scalable, conflict-free policy

deployment.

* Rollout advisory support outputs, including validation notes, issue triage inputs, and

governance recommendations.
